My name is Mayra. I am the Owner and Director of New Wave Learning Centers, Inc. 

After 25 years in the legal field working as a legal secretary, I knew that there was much more in store for me and my family than being locked into a nine-to-five and working on someone else's terms. For reasons I still cannot explain, I always wanted to own and operate a preschool. 

As a mother and grandmother I knew I had a profound love for children, and wanted to extend my empathy to the children and families of my community. 

I am so happy to say that with the help of my amazing teachers, we have created an environment where families truly feel comfortable with their child(ren)'s attendance at our preschool.
